The data, put together by Digital PR Lab, has revealed the top five most dangerous underground stations by crime statistics. 

It looks at the stations with the highest number of reported crimes in a close proximity.

Paddington tube station has been named as the most dangerous underground station (Image: Google Maps) Paddington has come in at the top of the list, with 232 reported crimes in January this year. 

Of these reported crimes, the most common category near the station was violence and sexual offences, making up 68 of the reported incidents. 

Liverpool Street came in close at second, with 232 reported crimes. The majority of these incidents (57) were crimes linked to anti-social behaviour.

A total of 157 crimes were recorded, with figures showing violent and sexual offences being most common. 

According to the data, 46 incidents fell into this category.

London Bridge had a recorded 136 crimes making it the fourth most dangerous tube station, and King’s Cross recorded 120 crimes, placing it in fifth. 

The most frequent crimes at London Bridge and King’s Cross have been listed as violence and sexual offences, and anti-social behaviour respectively. 

Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus, Baker Street, Waterloo, and Westminster made up the second half of the top ten most dangerous stations.
